Sonichomeboy Commish:Even fighters need their rest

Description

The vialant warrior pierces the fray,
his tooth, sword and claw strikes through the frenzy.
Untiring,relentless and infallable seems he.
But as the moon rises,the strain of battle shows;
his sword is slack and his spirits low.
As he treks back to civilisation,he cracks a small smile,
with the thoughts of a bath and sleep in just a while.

This is my second commission to :iconsonichomeboy: of his fighter,Raul.
Sorry it took quite a while, man!
Raul is epic, strong and powerful in all the pictures I saw.But that made me think(YES I DO,I DO IT QUITE A LOT,YET ALWAYS THE TONE OF SURPRISE...)and I decided to do this.
That is because no matter how strong you are(especially if you're strong),at the end of the day,all fighters need their rest.

*collapses in corner*Gawd...I did it by choice, but the BACKGROUND WAS MURDER.
Colouring it was haaaaaaaaaard.
I hope the water-light effect came out fine!It was caused by the moon's reflection on the surface.(just saying in case it was too darn fugly to make out and understand)

I'll just go...zzzzz..zzzz

enjoy

The piece itself caught my attention. The use of colors and shading are very well done. your water effects are golden, the moon refection could have been a bit lighter to show this fish, remember the moon is a reflection!

The one thing that stood out a bit was the foot of the dock, it should be a bit more relaxed, even though the injuries hurt, being more relaxed tends to soothe. Other then the foot and the moon's reflection, I don't see any flaws, your anatomy of the digi-grade wolf is astounding!

You did a great job! Its a piece that needs to be in my collection!
